Starlink installation for an off-grid farm, Brong-Ahafo
Challenge
A farm operation had no cable ISP coverage and relied on inconsistent mobile data for daily operations, video calls and payment processing.
What we did
AerixSys travelled to site, mounted a Starlink dish on a custom pole with clear sky line-of-sight, configured the router and distributed WiFi to the farmhouse and an outbuilding via a point-to-point access point.
Result
The farm gained a stable, always-on connection for the first time, supporting video calls and remote business management from a location no fixed-line or cable provider reaches.
36-camera estate-wide CCTV rollout, East Legon
Challenge
A gated residential estate had inconsistent, disconnected camera coverage installed piecemeal by previous contractors, with no centralised monitoring or access control at the main gate.
What we did
AerixSys designed a unified camera plan covering every entry point and blind spot, installed a centralised NVR system with remote viewing, and added biometric access control at the main gate integrated with an automated gate motor.
Result
Estate management gained a single system to monitor the entire property from one app, with logged, biometric-controlled entry replacing manual gatekeeping.
Solar backup for a guesthouse, Kumasi
Challenge
Frequent power cuts were taking the guesthouse's WiFi, CCTV and common-area lighting offline for hours at a time, affecting guest experience and security coverage.
What we did
AerixSys assessed the guesthouse's essential load (router, access points, NVR, common-area lights) and installed a battery backup system sized specifically to that load rather than the whole building.
Result
Essential systems — WiFi, cameras and common-area lighting — now continue running through outages, without the cost of backing up the entire property.
Hotel-wide WiFi and hotspot billing, Takoradi
Challenge
A 40-room hotel had one consumer router serving the whole building, resulting in dead zones on upper floors and no way to bill guests for premium WiFi tiers.
What we did
AerixSys ran structured cabling to each floor, deployed UniFi access points for seamless roaming coverage, and configured Mikrotik-based hotspot billing with Mobile Money integration for guest WiFi packages.
Result
Every room now gets reliable WiFi with automatic access-point handoff, and the hotel gained a new (small) revenue line from premium WiFi packages it previously gave away for free by default.
Full rewiring of a 1990s family home, Tema
Challenge
A homeowner's DB board was tripping daily under a modern load (AC units, an inverter, more appliances) it was never designed for, with visible old rubber-insulated cable in the roof space.
What we did
AerixSys replaced the ageing wiring circuit by circuit to minimise disruption to the occupied home, installed a new DB board sized for current and near-future load (including solar-readiness), and certified the completed work.
Result
The breaker-tripping stopped entirely, and the home is now wired to safely add solar backup later without another full rewiring project.
Diaspora land purchase and verification, Eastern Region
Challenge
A Ghanaian client based in the UK wanted to buy a plot near Koforidua for a future retirement home, but had no way to inspect the land or verify documentation from abroad.
What we did
AerixSys shortlisted three parcels matching the client's budget, conducted an on-site inspection with photo and video documentation, reviewed the site plan and indenture, and coordinated a Lands Commission search before the client authorised payment remotely.
Result
The client completed the purchase from London with full documentation review and site verification, without needing to travel to Ghana during the process.
Smart lock and lighting automation for a short-let apartment, Osu
Challenge
An Airbnb host was manually meeting every guest to hand over keys, and had no way to track who entered the unit or when.
What we did
AerixSys installed an app-controlled smart lock with unique time-limited codes per booking, integrated with the existing WiFi network, plus app-controlled common-area lighting.
Result
The host now generates a new access code per guest remotely and gets a log of every entry, eliminating in-person key handoffs entirely.
Perimeter fencing and CCTV for a logistics warehouse, Tema
Challenge
A warehouse storing high-value inventory had only a low perimeter wall and no alarm system, relying solely on a night watchman.
What we did
AerixSys installed electric perimeter fencing along the full wall length with a monitored alarm zone, paired with CCTV covering the yard, loading bay and fence line, and remote alerts to management's phones.
Result
Any fence breach now triggers an immediate alert with camera verification, giving management real-time visibility instead of relying solely on the watchman's rounds.
Fixed wireless internet for a private school, Tamale
Challenge
A growing private school needed reliable internet for a computer lab and administrative systems, but the area had inconsistent fibre availability.
What we did
AerixSys installed a fixed wireless connection with a dedicated line-of-sight link to the nearest base station, distributed via structured cabling to the computer lab and admin block, with a separate guest WiFi network for staff.
Result
The school now runs its computer lab and administrative software on a dedicated, always-on connection instead of competing for bandwidth on a single shared line.
Off-grid solar power for a rural clinic, Volta Region
Challenge
A community clinic outside Ho had no reliable grid connection, forcing staff to refrigerate vaccines and run basic equipment on an unpredictable generator schedule.
What we did
AerixSys designed and installed a full off-grid solar system sized for the clinic's daily load, including dedicated backup for the vaccine refrigerator as a non-negotiable priority circuit.
Result
The clinic now maintains consistent power for vaccine storage and basic equipment independent of generator fuel availability or grid connection status.
